Author, scriptwriter, director and film critic.

Born in Larissa, Greece.
He studied economics in Thessalonica and film direction in Athens. He started his career directing short films and documentaries but he worked also as a scriptwriter, a script editor and a film critic.
He has written many essays about cinema and books as Comedy (a study about the narration structure of the comedy in literature, theatre and cinema), The history of Greek television and Filmography of the Greek cinema.
He taught film history and narration structure in many film schools and seminars in Greece and he teaches scriptwriting in the Section of Cinema Studies of Aristotle’s National University of Thessalonica.

He has served the Board of the Scriptwriters' Guild of Greece and he is also a member of the Greek Director's Guild and the Film Critics Union of Greece.

He served as a Chairman of the Board of the Scriptwriters' Guild of Greece (2007-09).
