What's Up? FSE Talks for Screenwriters' Guilds in Europe (online)
Meeting #3 - Potestative Clauses and Screenwriters’ Contracts : Between Apparent Creative Freedom and Voluntary Servitude
A keynote by FSE general delegate Denis Goulette, followed by a discussion with the participants.
Executive Committee
- The new Executive Committee held its first meeting online today.
- Gail Renard was appointed vice-president of the FSE, Alex Haridi volunteered to be the new treasurer and Vinicio Canton will experiment the new position of secretary.
FERA and SAA
- FSE general delegate Denis Goulette and new FSE president Jacob Groll will travel to Berlin in February during the Berlinale to meet with SAA and FERA, mainly to discuss common positions on AI.
FSE at Series Mania!
- The FSE will be in Lille, France, during Series Mania, on 24 and 25 March.
- The FSE will participate to a panel discussion on 25 March in the morning.
- We will organise a meeting of the FSE executive committee.
- We are also planning a social event for the screenwriters present in Lille during Series Mania, on the theme of Freedom of Expression. Please let us know if you are going to be at Series Mania as well!
ESD and FSE AGM 2026 in Vienna
- We are very happy to confirm that our Austrian colleagues will welcome the next European Screenwriters Day and FSE annual general assembly in Vienna in Autumn 2026. We’ll confirm the dates shortly.
Holidays
- FSE will be on holiday 100% from this evening until 5 January 2026.
