Christina Kallas honoured by Federation of Screenwriters in Europe for outstanding contribution to writing and writers
In a warm and highly emotional celebration on Friday 8 November in Brussels, Christina Kallas was honoured by the delegates of the organisation' s 25 member guilds in 20 countries for her outstanding contribution to the international writers' community in her eight years of tenure as President of the Federation of Screenwriters in Europe.
In a warm and highly emotional celebration on Friday 8 November in Brussels, Christina Kallas was honoured by the delegates of the organisation' s 25 member guilds in 20 countries for her outstanding contribution to the international writers' community in her eight years of tenure as President of the Federation of Screenwriters in Europe.
Christina Kallas was unanimously invited to become the First Patron of the FSE. The FSE Patrons are eminent screenwriters and filmmakers who have stood out for their service and activity in matters related to the aims and goals of the Federation. They are nominated by the General Assembly and support the community of screenwriters, by increasing the visibility of the work FSE does on behalf of all screenwriters.
Christina Kallas initiated among others the series of World Conferences of Screenwriters, a co- venture of the FSE and the International Affiliation of Writers Guilds, the third of which will be taking place in Warsaw in October 2014
