Series of five social micro-documentaries in the context of a larger interactive documentary on the refugee issue in the Mediterranean sea. A co-production of the University of Granada (Spain), the University of Salerno (Italy) and the University of the Aegean.

THE HISTORY OF THE OLYMPIC GAMES: THE GREEK CONTRIBUTION (script-direction)

Feature-length historical documentary on behalf of the Hellenic Olympic Committee and the International Olympic Committee through the company Honest Partners.

Consultant and co-writer the historian Dr. Vasiliki Tzachrista. The documentary was

uploaded for years on the official server of the IOC and on the official website of the HOC and served as a key program of COSMOTE TV during the 2016 Olympic Games.

direction).

Cultural documentary on behalf of the Ecumenical Patriarchate on the subject of the Theological School of Halki today. Scientific Advisor: Petros Panagiotopoulos, Assistant Professor of Theology of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki .

LESVOS 1912: LAST STEPS FOR THE FREEDOM (direction-production).

Historical short documentary on behalf of the North Aegean Region Administration. The script was written by the historian Dr. Stratis Anagnostou. The documentary was screened at the Conference on the 100th anniversary of the Liberation of Lesvos and at all schools of Lesvos.

Historical short documentary on behalf of the Museum of Kozani and the Technological Institute of Western Macedonia (February 2012).

FROM STONE AND SOIL (script-direction).

Cultural short documentary on behalf of the Museum of Industrial Olive Oil Production of Lesvos. The script was written in collaboration with Dr. Alexandra Tranta. The final work was approved by the scientific committee of the Piraeus Bank Group Cultural Foundation and is displayed daily at the Museum up to the present.

Cultural short documentary on behalf of the Soufli Meteorological Museum. The script was written in collaboration with Dr. Paris Kalamara. The final work was approved by the scientific committee of the Piraeus Bank Group Cultural Foundation and is screened daily at the Museum and in multimedia applications up to the present. It was also screened at the Thessaloniki Documentary Festival 2009 and was also screened at the Thessaloniki Documentary Festival 2009.

Cultural short documentary on behalf of the Piraeus Foundation Cultural Club. The script was written in collaboration with Dr. Stefanos Konstas. The final work was approved by the scientific committee of the Piraeus Bank Group Cultural Foundation

and is screened daily at the Olive Museum in Sparta up the present.

THE COMMUNAL ENGINE. (script-direction).

Historical short documentary on behalf of the Museum of Industrial Olive Oil Production of Lesvos and the "Ergani" Historical Archive. The script was written under the scientific supervision of Dr. Evridiki Sifneou. The final work was approved by the scientific committee of the Piraeus Bank Group Cultural Foundation and is screened daily at the Museum of Industrial Olive Oil Production of Agia Paraskevi in Lesvos. It was

also screened at the Thessaloniki Documentary Festival 2007 and the Chalkida Festival 2007.

2005

AND A PRIPITSIANO BARREL MAKER (script-direction-editing-presentation).

Feature-length cultural documentary on the art of barrel making in Pripitsa, Exochori and in the wider area of Western Mani. The documentary was screened at the Museum during the exhibition, many times by local channels and at the moment excerpts of it are being screened at the Museum-Folklore Collection of Western Mani in Platsa, Lefktro.

2004

FOR FIVE APARTMENTS AND A SHOP (script-direction).

Feature-length cultural documentary on behalf of the Benaki Museum on the subject of the architectural and social evolution of Athens as recorded in Greek cinema (1924-2004 (direction, music supervision and screenplay). The screenplay was written in collaboration with Dimitris Filippidis, Professor Emeritus of Architecture at the Technical University of Athens. The final work was approved by the scientific committee of the Benaki Museum headed by the current Professor of the University of Patras Dimitris Damaskos, and has been presented many times at the Museum in continuous screenings, at the Thessaloniki Documentary Festival 2005, Chalkida Festival 2005, Ecocinema 2005, Ecofilms 2005, in special events, and in all major Universities abroad, where there is a chair of Modern Greek Studies (Princeton, Yale, Oxford, etc.).

THE SOCIAL SCIENCES IN OUR LIVES (direction).

Educational video for the Pedagogical Institute. It was produced as official teaching material for the course of the Second Lyceum "History of Social Sciences" and was approved by the Pedagogical Institute. Scientific advisor: Elias Katsoulis, Professor in Panteion University.

THE PHOTOGRAPHER, THE MAN AND HIS PLACE (camera-direction-editing-production).

Short cultural documentary about the work of veteran photographer Kostas Balafas. Created almost entirely on a computer (in 1998 with Adobe Premiere 4.2) which was then made into a film with the then pioneering “transfer-to-film” process. It was the first award-winning documentary in Greece to be made in this way.

State Quality Awards - Special Award for Short Documentary Film 1999 Honorable Mention at the Drama Festival 1999.

Cultural documentary and %short portrait on the occasion of a lecture at the Stavrakos Film School, on the work of the multi-award-winning director Nikos Koundouros.

IN THE STUDY BREAK/ STO AKADIMAIKO TETARTO (executive production).

A series of 23 documentaries on the subject of contemporary student culture on behalf of the Hellenic Parliament – Television. It is the first television documentary series in the history of Greek television, produced exclusively by students (senior students of the Department of Cultural Technology and Communication of the University of the Aegean) under the supervision of Ioannis Skopeteas.

The film "STUDENTS AND CINEMA" under the new title "TRAINING THE GAZE" won the Best Historical Student Documentary Award 2016.

THE AEGEANDOCS FESTIVAL at the Greek National Broadcaster (ERT) (executive production and occasionally, direction).

A series of 4G newscasts every autumn from 2013 to 2021 during the Aegeandocs Festival in Mytilene, with culturall correspondences. Research, cinematography and presentation are carried out exclusively by the students of the University of the Aegean under the supervision and guidance of Ioannis Skopeteas who was responsible for the whole production as well. It has been the first time in the history of Greek television that newscasts at broadcast level are made by students of a Communication Department of a Greek university.
